Episode 6: 4 International School Red Flags to Make Sure You Avoid

Welcome to the sixth episode of the teaching abroad podcast. And I am so glad you’re here so that can avoid these international school red flags.

I am the kind of person who loves to know everything before I do anything, and worst of all, I like to know worse case scenarios. Therefore every time I go scuba diving, I ask the question “What will you do when a shark bites my arm?” 😂 and they usually try to tell me that I’m not going to get bitten by a shark, which I know: you are more likely to get struck by lightning than get bitten by a shark. But I need to know what they’re going to do after I have been bitten (hint: the only acceptable answer is that they’ll tickle it till it lets go – I’m not pro-punching animals – unless it’s to save my life obvs). But I want to know everything and I was the same about teaching abroad.
